Bellaria
Bellaria is located north of Rimini, one of the most famous seaside resorts of Italy. Bellaria Igea-Marina is the perfect place to spend a relaxing holiday on the sea and to enjoy the true italian cuisine and the typical cooking specialties of our region Romagna. Bellaria is well known to be the best part of Rimini for the families, since it is a quiet small town, surrounded by the green, and it is crossed from side to side by a beautiful traffic-free greenbelt: "l'isola dei platani". The "Isola dei Platani" contains activities for all ages: amusement parks, ice-cream shops, showrooms, restaurants, boutiques, book shops, handcrafted products shops, expositions, discos, pubs etc. Bellaria is located in the center of the riviera, north of Cattolica, Riccione, Rimini and south of Cesenatico, Milano Marittima. All the coast is well served by buses, taxies, trains, which are on regular duty also at night. This means that from Bellaria it is very easy to discover the other resorts of the Riviera Romagnola.
At every hour the Riviera guarantees fun for everyone with its 70 discos, hundreds of pubs and entertainments of every kind. Near the hotel there are some water-sports facilities: jet-ski, paragliding, open-sea fishing, swimming-schools. Some turistic boats offer tours to a variety of destinations.
Rimini and the surrounding towns are ancient cities, most created during the Roman era (Rimini was the ancient roman city Ariminum). It is still possible to walk through ancient vestiges like the Augustus Arch and the Tiberium Bridge in Rimini, which has been built 2000 years ago in stones and marble. It is still stable and supporting modern car traffic. Middle Ages have left us beautiful castles in San Marino, San Leo and other localities near Rimini. For the lovers of wine, Rimini is surrounded by vineyards and old, small enterprises that produce the high-quality wines of the Romagna region. Most of the winemakers happily accept visitors.
